First order promos
When it works
The code has to match an active campaign and an eligible first-order checkout.
What gets checked
Minimums, retailer eligibility, and prior usage are validated before payment.
Codes like FIRST20 are shown on the site when a campaign is active. They're applied at checkout when your cart and delivery address meet the rules for that promo - minimums, partner, and eligibility are validated before payment.
CommerceOS doesn't stack shady coupons; if a code doesn't apply, the checkout flow will tell you why (for example minimum not met, wrong partner, or already used).
Referral bonuses are separate - they credit after a delivered order. See Refer a friend for how that works.
